Volunteer position (3-6 hours per week flexible)
Penington Institute, a not-for-profit organisation, actively supports the adoption of approaches to drug use that promote safety and human dignity through thought leadership, community education, frontline worker training, research and policy formation.
We are seeking a Volunteer Human Resources Coordinator to assist us in the development and delivery of Penington Institute’s human resource functions including
- Ensuring there is a robust people policy / procedure platform that guides management and the broader workforce in executing their responsibilities
- Delivering contemporary HR practices for all stages of an employee’s / volunteer’s engagement cycle: recruitment and selection; on-boarding; induction / orientation, performance / satisfaction processes; development and transitions
- Providing mentoring support to Penington Institute’s leadership team in their management and leadership of Penington Institute’s workforce
