Between Us

The Between Us campaign focuses on key topics for people who use drugs: pharmacotherapy, overdose and naloxone, benzodiazepines (benzos), infection control and telehealth.

In four street art posters, nine A3 posters, four information brochures and other materials, Between Us is designed to help people who use drugs to have the right information to be safe and healthy.

Between Us is built on the insights and experiences of people who use drugs and people working in services, as well as evidence checking with health experts.

Why Between Us?

People who use drugs have developed their own strategies to stay safe.

With the ongoing challenges presented by COVID-19, it has become evident that staying safe is harder than ever.

The idea behind Between Us is to acknowledge and take advantage of the many conversations – between workers, peers, families and people who use drugs – to deliver important health messages that start conversations and help to drive real action.

Between Us is a series of visuals that use double meanings and negative space, forcing us to stop and question what we’re really seeing.

This work has been developed in partnership with Harm Reduction Victoria (HRVic) and the Association of Participating Service Users (APSU).
