Penington Institute

Resource Type

Last Updated

This resource is part of the Safer Using Series and provides information about different drug overdose and naloxone, including contacts for further support.

The Safer Using Series is the NSP Handbook’s companion resource. This is a set of brochures on topics such as injecting, hepatitis C, keeping healthy, and drug use and the law.

An overdose (oD) means having too much of a drug, or a combination of drugs for your body to cope with. An overdose presentation will be different depending on the drug used involved.
