Media and Communications
Anna is a senior communications professional and psychologist with a career drive to support the development of healthy, equitable, and inclusive communities. She brings close to 20 years of experience in both corporate and non-profit sectors delivering effective communications, advocacy, marketing, fundraising, and engagement strategies and campaigns, and she has recently completed a master’s degree in community psychology.
Anna draws on critical and community psychology values and principles to guide her communications work. She is passionate about seeking change for those marginalised by our systems and society, and she is keen to contribute toward shifting the common narratives around addiction and drug use by centring people, humanity, compassion and understanding in the conversation.
Anna joined Penington Institute as Director of Strategic Communications in early 2023.
