Dr Karen Gelb

Karen is an accomplished and widely-known criminologist with expertise around a range of criminal justice and social issues, including drug use, family violence, specialist courts, sentencing, public opinion, sex offenders, young offenders and remand.

For the past nine years, she has also been an Industry Expert lecturing at the University of Melbourne’s Department of Criminology.

Karen is the manager of Penington Institute’s research and policy team.
