Joe Brugliera

Joe is a highly qualified Chartered Accountant and Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) with over 20 years of senior finance experience in the not-for-profit sector. Joe brings extensive expertise in financial reporting, analysis, and superannuation fund administration, having served as the Superannuation Fund Administrator for the YMCA Superannuation Fund for nine years.

Joe has held the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at major national community organisations, including Athletics Australia Limited and the National Employment Services Association Limited. Most recently, Joe completed his role as CFO at The Fight Cancer Foundation Limited.

With deep experience in board governance, Joe regularly presented financial, operational, strategic, and governance reports to boards, ensuring best practice standards. Joe holds a Bachelor of Business from Deakin University and the prestigious FCA and FCPA Fellow designations from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and Certified Practicing Accountants (CPA) Australia.

Joe joined Penington Institute as Manager of Corporate Services in 2024.
