In an article published in the Herald Sun, Penington Institute CEO John Ryan discusses the findings of our recent Victorian survey, which shows widespread support for safe cannabis regulation.
More than 3,700 Victorians have completed Penington Institute’s survey of community views on cannabis policy reform.
The results show widespread support for the legalisation of cannabis – but with strong regulations to restrict advertising and limit children from accessing products.
In the Herald Sun article, Penington CEO John Ryan says:
“We already know most Victorians support sensible regulation of cannabis.
“And now we know there’s also broad agreement about what this should look like.
“Importantly, this community consensus aligns with the views of public health and legal experts.”
John Ryan, Penington Institute CEO
