Gideon is a consultant with more than a decade of experience supporting organisations across health, higher education, and public services to navigate complexity and deliver meaningful change. His work focuses on helping leaders clarify priorities, make informed decisions, and maximise impact in resource-constrained environments.
He brings a strong commitment to evidence-informed decision-making, alongside an understanding of the human and organisational factors that shape effective policy and practice. Gideon believes lasting progress is achieved when diverse perspectives are brought together with clarity, trust, and shared purpose.
As a Board Observer at Penington Institute, Gideon is proud to support the Institute’s work to reduce drug-related harm and improve community health and safety.
Sensible drug policy is essential for managing and balancing a series of societal imperatives – respecting adults to make decisions for themselves, mitigating the harms drugs can do to individuals and society, and mitigating the harms bad drug policy can do to the same.
